Change in playoff format announced

As we near the end of the season a lot of questions have arisen regarding the playoff structure. In order to give more teams a chance to advance in playoffs, this is what the Wine Country Baseball League Board of Directors has established.

NOTE: All series will be played in the best of three games format.

The top TWO teams advance from each division:

            -North Sonoma County Division

            -South Sonoma County Division

            -Napa Division

Then, the winner of Sonoma County North will play Sonoma County South. The winner of this series advances to the Wine Country Baseball Championship series.

Napa gets an automatic bye to the Championship Series, where they will play the winner of SC North vs South.
